Mammoth Mountain and the Mammoth Race Department is excited about hosting the 2007 Chevrolet Western Region Junior III Junior Olympics, and J4 Festival. The very best 12-14 year-old United States Ski Association racers, boy & girls, from the five Western divisions will compete in Super G, Giant Slalom and Slalom over challenging courses at Mammoth Mountain from Thursday, March 22, to Sunday, March 25. At Mammoth Race Department, we wish all the competitors success and fair racing. We hope you leave Mammoth with lasting memories of your opportunity to compete against the region's best. If there is anything we can do to help you during your stay in Mammoth, please call us at 760.934.0642. And, please check mammothmountain.com for general information about California's favorite resort. On this site, you will find all the information you need for the event, including the latest official information, the schedule, and, when they become available, start lists, results and web photo galleries. In addition, we will be making available shortly following the championship high-resolution photo files. Hosted at an online photo service, these files can be used to order prints (at the service's nominal charge). Also, the high-resolution photo files themselves will be available, free of charge, by contacting the event staff at an email address that will be listed on the "Souvenirs" page of this site. We also will make available, shortly following the Championship, a free, downloadable 2007 Western Region JIII Junior Olympic Emagazine. In PDF format and full color, the emagazine will contain stories, complete results, and photos. It will be available in low-resolution format for quick loading. The emagazine will be available via the "Emagazine" tab in the left column navigation bar. Of course, these services and the event itself would not be possible without the support of our sponsors and governing groups. We thank the following for their interest in junior ski racing in America and their success in helping develop skiing and life skills in the boys and girls who will compete here:
